Welcome to NLCRC’s Blog

Welcome!

We are delighted you found us! We are the National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition.

As you may be aware, plastic waste has the potential to become a perceived global health issue. With rising social awareness around plastic waste, driven by increased research and media coverage, many are demanding immediate action – through bans on plastic, prohibitions on single-use packaging, or other legislative measures.

We understand the value of collective action. As such, we formed the National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition, “NLCRC”. We are an industry-led technical coalition of lubricant manufacturers, associated plastic packaging manufacturers, and other automotive lubricant value chain experts committed to driving solutions for post-consumer recovery and recycling of plastic lubricant containers. Its vision is to establish a national program that recovers and recycles plastic packaging used to transport lubricants for commercial and consumer use.

You are welcome to join us in our commitment to developing solutions to recover and recycle lubricant container plastic material in the United States.
