The National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition Welcomes New Member: Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association

The National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition (NLCRC) is pleased to announce that the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) has joined the coalition.

Since 1948, ILMA has been the voice of member companies that produce more than a quarter of the automotive lubricants made in North America. Given the NLCRC’s focus on establishing solutions for the recovery and recycling of packaging for petroleum-based and related products utilized in transportation and industrial applications, ILMA’s membership represents collaboration of the full value chain to advance the NLCRC’s efforts.

“Our new relationship with ILMA and its member companies allows us to engage an even broader range of industry stakeholders to develop circular packaging solutions, and we look forward to opportunities to collaborate with the ILMA team.” ~ Tristan Steichen, Director of NLCRC

“ILMA looks forward to working with the NLCRC to help our members meet extended producer responsibility requirements and sustainability goals. We know the value of partnership, like the one we now have with the NLCRC, in tackling the challenges manufacturers face as the lubricants industry grows and evolves. ~ Holly Alfano, Chief Executive Officer of ILMA

ILMA’s membership in the NLCRC represents an increasing need for companies to better understand and respond to the changing business landscape that extended producer responsibility (EPR) brings, as well as equal participation in a collaborative coalition representing the packaging value chain for petroleum and related products.
